Electromagnetic iron separator is a hanging iron removal equipment matched with conveyor belts, equipped with independent electrical control box. Its core function is to absorb and remove tramp iron impurities mixed in bulk raw materials, protect downstream crushers, ball mills and grinding machines from hard iron block impact damage, and improve finished material purity.
1. Working Principle & Control System
Internal copper coil generates ultra-strong penetrating magnetic field after power supply by the supporting electrical control box. When bulk materials pass under the suspended electromagnetic iron separator on the conveyor belt, all ferrous impurities including steel blocks, bolts, iron nails, iron slag are instantly captured by magnetic force. Manual cleaning type needs periodic power-off to release iron; self-unloading electromagnetic iron separator is matched with circulating scraper belt to automatically discharge iron impurities without shutdown, realizing continuous production line iron removal. The electrical control box supports PLC linkage with conveyor belt to realize automatic start-stop interlock protection.
2. Two Main Cooling Types for Different Working Environments
Air-cooled electromagnetic iron separator: Natural air heat dissipation, suitable for normal temperature material conveying lines, low maintenance cost, widely used in cement, coal, quartz sand production;
Oil-cooled electromagnetic iron separator: Sealed circulating oil cooling system, stable magnetic field under high temperature environment, can handle materials with temperature up to 180℃, ideal for sintering plant, high-temperature mineral raw material conveying lines.
