Permanent Suspended Overband Magnet
The Permanent Suspended Overband Magnet is a manual-discharge permanent magnet separator designed to be suspended above a belt conveyor via lifting lugs located on its top. It utilizes a composite magnetic system composed of high-remanence NdFeB (neodymium-iron-boron) permanent magnet materials; requiring no external power for excitation, it relies on permanent magnetic force to capture ferromagnetic impurities mixed within bulk materials, thereby protecting downstream equipment-such as crushers and ball mills-from impact damage caused by iron objects.
As material is conveyed beneath the separator, ferrous impurities-such as iron scraps, bolts, and nails-are attracted to and held against the unit's underside, allowing for periodic manual removal. The housing features a fully sealed, welded construction that is dustproof and rainproof, making it suitable for harsh operating environments, including outdoor and dusty conditions.
