Disc vacuum filter is rotary multi-disc vacuum filtration equipment specially for ore slurry solid-liquid separation. After magnetic separation, mineral concentrate slurry contains high moisture, which increases transportation cost and smelting energy consumption. Disc vacuum filter uses vacuum negative pressure to separate solid mineral from water, stable reducing filter cake moisture to below 12%, becoming the standard terminal dewatering equipment of global mineral processing plants.
1. Four-Stage Continuous Working Cycle
Cake Forming Stage: Multiple filter discs rotate and partially immerse in slurry tank; vacuum pump produces negative pressure, water penetrates filter cloth into central vacuum pipeline, solid mineral forms uniform filter cake on disc surface;
Deep Dewatering Stage: Disc rotates out of slurry tank, vacuum continues extracting residual moisture from filter cake to lower water content;
Cake Discharge Stage: Disc rotates to scraper position, vacuum closed, scraper peels dry mineral filter cake and falls onto discharge conveyor;
Automatic Regeneration Stage: Disc enters backwashing area, high-pressure water flushes filter cloth pores to prevent blockage, restore filtration efficiency for next cycle.
