
Vacuum Filter
A disc vacuum filter is a solid-liquid separation device. The filter disc is driven by a speed regulator through a reducer and open gear transmission. It rotates at a constant speed within a tank filled with slurry. When one of the filter disc's fan blades is in the filter adsorption zone, a vacuum pump creates a pressure differential across the filter medium. This causes solids to adhere to the filter medium (filter cloth), forming a filter cake. The filtrate is discharged through the filtrate pipe and distributor. When this fan blade is removed from the slurry level and enters the dewatering zone, the filter cake is dried. Once in the discharge zone, the filter cake is removed from the disc by backwash and scrapers, falling into a discharge chute and then transported away by a collection belt conveyor. The entire process proceeds contin-uously.

Main features of the technique:
1. Addressing some shortcomings of existing filter fans, our newly designed filter fan features uniformly distributed dewatering holes, a reasonable porosity, high strength (the filter fan material is high-strength engineering plastic), and a long service life, with an average lifespan increased by 1-1.5 times. Simultaneously, the filter fan has a larger effective area, improving the filtration capacity of the filter.
2. Large filtration area and large abdominal cavity capacity of the distribution head improve the pumping rate and filtrate discharge effect.
3. The mixing shaft adopts a horizontal forced speed mixing, and the shaft end adopts a triple combination of "rubber, packing and water seal" to effectively prevent slurry leakage and has a service life of more than 8 years.
